The Senate has adjourned sittings until July 2, 2024.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, made the announcement during Tuesday’s plenary.
This will enable lawmakers to participate in activities marking the 2024 Democracy Day.
Additionally, the rest period marks its end of session break.
The 10th National Assembly will be one year in office on Thursday, June 13.
