Vice President Kashim Shettima led dignitaries on Friday to the burial of Fatima, daughter of the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mr. Mele Kyari.
Fatima, aged 25, passed away on Friday, in yet to be revealed circumstances.
The Vice President joined other mourners at the funeral prayers, which were held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences to Kyari and family, offering prayers for the peaceful repose of Fatima’s soul.
Shettima also prayed for strength for the family to endure this profound loss, noting the tragedy of losing a daughter in the prime of her life.
