Primate Elijah Ayodele, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has commended the Chief of Army Staff and indeed the military for eliminating the second in command to Bello Turji, the notorious bandit and terrorist.
Speaking further on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the international headquarters of his church at Ejigbo, Ayodele maintained that Turji days are numbered.
He advised the military authorities to prioritize the welfare of the soldiers who are fighting to keep Nigeria from being overrun.
He added that the soldiers must not be taken for granted and everything must be done to keep them focused on their assignment.
Primate Ayodele who maintained that terrorists have come to stay in Nigeria, also added that they can be fizzled all out at the same time.
He urged the Chief of Army Staff to do more and improve on what Lagbaja did. He further urged that military authorities must not allow terrorists to attack any military formation these months of June, July and August.
He said, “I commend the Chief of Army Staff and the military for killing the second in command of Turji last week. I know the days of Turji are numbered.
“I now want to advise the Chief of Army Staff to put the welfare of the soldiers on their priority list.
“These soldiers must be taken care of. They are made to fight for Nigeria and they must not be taken for granted as if they are not important.
“Treat them well so that they remain focused in fighting the terrorist war.
“Sincerely terrorism has come to stay in Nigeria, but at the same time they can fizzle them all out.
“He is doing well now, he is doing well, but he should improve. Just like Lagbaja did, he should do better and improve on what Lagbaja did. He must not allow these people to attack any military formation these months of June, July, August, he must not allow that,” Primate Ayodele stated.
