Primate Elijah Ayodele, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has urged the Chief of Staff to the President and Former Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, to wake up if he must be a leading factor in the race for the governorship position of Lagos State.
Primate Ayodele made the statement during Tuesday service at the international headquarters of his church at Ejigbo, Lagos State.
Primate Ayodele while speaking on the race to capture the seat of power of Lagos State in 2027, said that there are other aspirants that will suppress Gbajabiamila, but urged him to be steadfast and remain focused.
He disclosed that Gbajabiamila must strategically build grassroot base and also carry all and sundry along in order to realize his governorship ambition in the state.
He said, “There are other candidates that will come up that will suppress Gbajabiamila.
“Sincerely, Gbaja should be focused, must not relent in his efforts, he must stand firm, he might not take my word so serious, but I tell Gbaja that there are things he should start doing now, and underground work that will help him to be in the race and to be a leading factor in the race.
“Gbaja should do more grassroots work, and also show concerned for all and sundry. This will help him to take the seat of governor of Lagos State. Gbaja should wake up now,” Ayodele stated.
