Popular influencer and streamer, Habeeb Hamzat Alao, widely known as Peller, was reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday night.
A viral video from Peller’s live stream showed him in a heated exchange with unidentified men he initially believed to be police officers.
“This one dey do like Police he be, he dey carry g·n, calm down, you dey point gun, no dey do like that,” Peller was heard saying.
One of the men replied, “Na me you dey talk to like that,” before Peller was taken away from his car.
Confirming the incident during his own live stream, skitmaker Carter Efe contacted one of Peller’s associates. The unnamed associate said: “They kidnapped Peller. I swear to God. They had gun to his head that is why he was calm.”
In a new update on Thursday morning, Sandra Benede stated during a live broadcast that Peller had been found.
However, as of now, neither Peller nor any of his associates has released an official statement regarding the alleged kidnapping or reports of his recovery.
