Shina, the only child of veteran Yoruba Actress, Peju Ogunmola, has been reported dead.
He was stepson to Sunday Omobolanle, Papi Luwe, Peju’s latter-day husband.
Sources said the heartbreaking incident occurred on Monday, September 1, 2025, while the 56-year-old Actress was on a movie location.
Peju is the second spouse of fellow Nollywood Actor Sunday Omobolanle, also known as Papiluwe.
According to the sources, Shina had just completed his one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
The veteran Actress celebrated on social media her only son finishing the NYSC programme this June.
Shina’s passing has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with colleagues, friends, and fans flooding social media platforms to express their condolences.
Many described the tragedy as an irreparable loss, not only to Ogunmola’s family but also to the wider Yoruba theatre community.
“This is beyond painful. Our thoughts and prayers are with Peju Ogunmola in this dark moment,” one sympathiser wrote, while another added: “She has given so much to the industry, it is heartbreaking that she now faces this kind of sorrow.”
