The First Lady of Anambra State has responded to a purportedly leaked scandalous conversation between the All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy Governorship Candidate in the November 8 gubernatorial election, Senator Uche Lilian Ekwunife, and an apparent supporter of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, simply identified as Ifeanyi.
In the audio recording, Ekwunife threatened to go to town with allegations that Mrs. Nonye Soludo committed adultery with former Anambra State’s Governor Mbadinuju.
Now deceased, Chinwoke Mbadinuju governed Anambra State from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2003 on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
ANAMBRA FIRST LADY REPLIES: NONYE SOLUDO
My attention has just been drawn to a post going round that Mrs Soludo replied Ekwunife. Not at all! I am too busy with my children as schools resume. Besides, I can’t condescend to replying inanities and fabrications. An Igbo adage says that you don’t exchange words with a madman, otherwise the passersby will not know the difference.
For the records, I never met Dr Mbadinuju of blessed memory. NEVER! As for the other fabrications—-PITIABLE and LAUGHABLE!
Ekwunife has been having a running battle with Soludo, whom she accused of taunting her Doctorate Degree and her person.
She is a former member of the House of Representatives and a former Senator for Anambra Central.

Ekwunife: Good Afternoon, it’s Iyom on the line. I said this one you are attacking me, what did I do to you?
Ifeanyi: Good Afternoon Ma.
Ekwunife: Are we fighting,? I knew you through Ifeanyi Ubah so what’s the problem with you writing on the platform that I should be decimated?
Ifeanyi: We are not fighting Ma
Ekwunife: You are supposed to be defending me. If I am your sister, won’t you be proud of me?
Ifeanyi: I will be your number one supporter…
Ekwunife: So why are you saying I should be decimated beyond repair?
Ifeanyi: What I am saying Ma, is that you opened the Pandora box
Ekwunife: Ehn?
Ifeanyi: You have gone too far Ma, and crossed a line you shouldn’t have.
Ekwunife: You were there and Soludo has been saying things about me. He wants to damage me and I kept quiet.
Ifeanyi: I am aware of that.
Ekwunife: He has a wife. If he attacks me, I attack his wife. He decimates me, I decimate and debase his wife. I am out for him. What will they say about me that hasn’t been said before? Mbadinuju (former Anambra Governor) did this, Mbadinuju did that. Soludo’s wife worked under Mbadinuju and she also slept with him. Yes, we will get to anywhere, let everybody start talking…anybody that mentions my name again, I will call out the person’s wife, I will debase the person’s wife no matter who he is.
Ifeanyi: Your Excellency?
Ekwunife: If you can be fabricating these things about me without me doing it, what makes you think I will not fabricate the same things about you?
Ifeanyi: Of course
Ekwunife: See where I am and my reputation, everyday, men will be attacking me, and trying to debase me, for what? Which nonsense Pandora box? Hope this Pandora box will be on the road? Does he not have a wife? His wife is a man-woman, nonsense.
Ifeanyi: Your Excellency?
Ekwunife: Ifeanyi, you know I knew you through Ifeanyi Uba, that’s why I am calling you to tell you that any man that mentions my name to attack me, his daughters will never get to my position, it’s a curse I am placing on any man.
