Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, has given reasons why the government should support food manufacturers in the country.
He said the government should support food manufacturers in order to avoid famine in the country.
Primate Ayodele stated this Sunday, September 14, while speaking on national issues.
He said the support has become necessary so that the manufacturers of food will be able to face challenges of food scarcity whereby citizens will have money but are unable to get food.
He said that Minister of Agriculture should work on this urgently.
Primate Ayodele said, “The government should support local food manufacturers so that the nation will have enough food in circulation.
“All the states that produce, Rice, yam, Government should give them adequate support for them to be able to face any challenges that will bring about food scarcity whereby the citizens will have money but they will not be able to get food.
“This must be handled quickly, I don’t know, the minister of agriculture must work on this,” he stated.
