Says Government planning to upturn election result
Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of the Most High God and Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has disclosed that the president of Malawi will find it difficult in his reelection bid.
He said this on Friday, September 19, 2025, at his church, while speaking on global issues.
He said the former president could still make impact if he strategize well.
He added that the opposition must not sleep as the government is planning to turn the election result to the favour of the president.
He also disclosed that the president did not win but they want to declare him the winner.
He said the person contesting with the president must not sleep, must wake up, otherwise, they would subdue him.
“In Malawi, the president will face challenges in his reelection bid.
“The former president can still make a very good impact if opposition strategise very well, the government wanted to turn the election to their own favour.
“They must not sleep because the president did not win and he wants to turn the election to his favour to declare him as the winner.
“The opposition who is contesting with the president must wake up, must not sleep, otherwise they want to turn things around and bring him down, that is the message of the lord,” he said.
