Tito, the daughter of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, raised the voice of lamentation after her phone was stolen during her father’s coronation reception in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Tito, who is married to musician, Bez Idakula, disclosed this on her Instagram story on Monday, September 29.
“They stole my phone at the coronation reception. People clearly don’t respect my new princess status,” she wrote.
Oba Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, was last Friday presented with the staff and instrument of office as the 44th Olubadan by Governor Seyi Makinde at the historic Mapo Hall, in a ceremony attended by President Bola Tinubu and other dignitaries.
His installation followed the passage of the 43rd Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who died on July 7, 2025, at the age of 90.
