The wife of the General Overseer (GO) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Folu Adeboye, has recalled how someone she did not identify presented the man of God with poisoned food on New Year Day.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s wife, popularly called Mummy GO, spoke in a video recording at which she was addressing a congregation mostly made up of women.
She said: “Someone came with poisoned food to our house on New Year day.
“Many people were around to celebrate with us.
“The moment I saw the food my spirit was troubled and I knew there was something wrong.
“I asked that they should give the food to the dogs. An hour later, the gateman came to tell me that the dog was dead. Imagine people ate the food and they died in our house.
“Imagine what they would have said if someone ate the food and died in the home of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Church.
“Women, pray that God give you the spirit of discernment.”
