Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, Chief of the Air Staff, has directed all Air Component Commanders to escalate smarter, harder, and more precise air strikes to decisively neutralize insurgents, terrorists, and criminal elements undermining Nigeria’s security.
The directive was issued during a high-level strategic session with Theatre Commanders in Abuja.
According to a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the CAS stressed that future operations must embody agility, precision, and intelligence-led dominance, with every mission executed with utmost professionalism, purpose, and patriotism.
Air Marshal Aneke reassured personnel of his unwavering commitment to their welfare, professional development, and operational readiness, pledging continued investment in innovation, cutting-edge technology, and advanced training to guarantee mission success.
He further reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s steadfast alignment with the Federal Government’s agenda for lasting peace and security, while maintaining the highest standards of international conduct and accountability.
