“Once we participate in an election and a President is elected by the will of the people or through our constitutional process, it becomes a patriotic duty to support the office, remain loyal to our country, and work together for progress. Elections may divide opinions, but governance requires unity. Our loyalty must be first to Nigeria, then to the leader chosen to govern it because the success of the nation is far more important than the victory of any political argument.”

This thinking is how strong nations survive political transitions.
✔ The United States rallies behind the office of the President even if half the country didn’t vote for him.
✔ Rwanda rebuilt from ashes because leadership and citizens moved in one direction.
✔ Singapore became a world power because once elections ended, national commitment began.
Nigeria must evolve to that mindset.
We can disagree, we can criticize constructively, we can demand better but we must never root for failure, instability, or division, because no government collapses alone; it takes its citizens with it.
The mark of maturity in democracy is simple: We compete during elections but we cooperate during governance.
