Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has disclosed that a new tax system in Nigeria will kill a lot of people.
Primate Ayodele made the disclosure recently while speaking to journalists in Lagos.
He added that Nigerians would be shocked.
He stated that Nigerians should prepare for hardship but added that tax can bring down the system and weaken it.
He revealed that Nigerians would go hungry as a result of the new tax system and therefore called on Nigerians to be watchful.
Primate Ayodele said, “Tax will kill a lot of Nigerians.
“Nigeria will by tough with tax. Nigerians will be shocked with tax.
“Tax will cause problems.
“Nigerians should prepare for a little bit of hardship through tax.
“Tax can bring down the system, tax can weaken the system.
“Let’s be watchful because, tax is not the answer, with tax a lot of people will go hungry, tax is certainly not the answer,” he stated.
