Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has stated that the involvement of America in the fight against insecurity in Nigeria would weaken the nation’s military capability.
Primate Ayodele made the disclosure at a night vigil which was part of a month programmes to mark the annual convention of his church, the 2026 edition.
He added that while the coming of America to Nigeria to help with security matters acted as a wake-up call to the nation’s military, such activity will end up weakening Nigeria militarily, adding that Nigerian military operations are now in the hand of the American Government.
He said, “The involvement of American government is to wake up our military.
“However, all the secrets of our military is now in America’s hand.
“No secret in our military operations any longer, it is really delicate because now Nigeria will not be able to do certain things, this will not strengthen our military capacity.”
