A Nigerian man has sparked intense reactions on social media after revealing that his cousin’s marriage, which allegedly cost over ₦60 million, has collapsed barely a year after the wedding.
The claim was shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter), where the man narrated what he described as a shocking turn of events surrounding the lavish union. “Marriage when my cousin spend more than 60 million last year April don scatter.”
He further alleged that the situation became complicated following accusations of domestic abuse.
“Apparently, the girl even scratched herself with stuff and reported to the police that he abused her,” he claimed.
The allegations, however, remain unverified, and no official statements have been issued by the individuals involved or relevant authorities.
According to the post, the situation allegedly escalated in the United States, where the cousin was said to be working as a nurse anesthetist.
“My cousin who is a nurse anesthetist, making over $300k, has been fired for domestic violence and is now driving Uber in Florida,” the man added.
