A photograph of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and King Charles leading a trail of Nigerian ministers paired by members of the royal family has sparked a fight on X Twitter.
Twitter user and presidential medial aide Usman Shehu sparked the fire when he posted on 19th March.
“Take a close look at this picture. Do you notice how the ministers are following the King and the President?
“This isn’t just about the dinner, my fellow Nigerians. You’ll see that each minister has a British counterpart, and they’re all engaged in discussions. Do you really think those conversations are meaningless?”
Responding, iOccupyNigeria posted:
“Oga which ministers?
Tinubu and Charles (Head of State with NO executive power)
Remi and Camilla (Two first ladies with NO executive power)
MoS FA Bianca Ojukwu and William (No Executive Power)
Wale Edun and Kate (No Executive Power)
Margaret (No Executive Power) and so on and so forth.
“So yes the conversations dey meaningless, Prime Minister of the UK, person wey be head of UK Government no dey there, his representatives no dey there as well. The whole thing na optics.”
