Rahman Owokoniran wants Tinubu to know that Nigeria needs results and not Explanations

Concerns about governance in Nigeria remain rooted in a long standing pattern of ineffective management and weak institutional accountability.
While recent acknowledgments by Bola Ahmed Tinubu may signal awareness, the pressing issue is the absence of bold, decisive, and measurable action.
With over three decades of influence in Nigeria’s political landscape, expectations for transformative leadership are not only reasonable, they are overdue. The nation cannot continue to operate under the weight of recurring inefficiencies while citizens bear the consequences of policy failures and administrative lapses.
The continued reliance on the narrative of “inherited challenges” is no longer acceptable. Leadership must now be defined by the ability to confront entrenched systemic failures, enforce accountability within government, and deliver visible, time bound results that improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
At this critical moment, what the country demands is not justification, but performance, strategic and uncompromising actions. Anything less will only reinforce public frustration and erode confidence in governance.
