People’s Pain, Anger Will Decide 2027 Election, Primate Ayodele Voices Out: Says No Gov Deserves 2nd Term
Primate Elijah Ayodele, Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has spoken against government insensitivity to the plight of the common man in the country.
He said the 2027 elections will be based on people making their choices because there is pain and anger in the country.
He added that based on the inability of the governors to provide jobs and basic necessities to their people, none, he said, deserved second term.
He said, “To be honest and sincere, no Governor deserves second term in Nigeria. How? See these governors, there is something wrong mentally, they go overseas, to oversee what?
“I don’t want people to like me. They travel on what grounds? Let us be honest, there are many African countries that are better than Nigeria one hundred hundred billion times.
“Tinubu has enriched these governors and the governors have enriched themselves. At the end of their tenure, they will say the President has failed. All of them have failed, the House of Representatives, Senators.
“What am I saying? Any government which does not build flyover, roads, they will tell you that, if they want to campaign, they will say I have done roads, flyovers, roads, towards elections you see them with their caterpillars, they will be grading roads, building overhead bridge. Is it overhead bridge we want to eat? No. Will overhead bridge create human capacity? Zero.
“What is wrong with our people that we cannot plant cocoa trees and employ about 3,000 youths? What happened to our mango in Taraba State that we cannot extract juice that can be exported and be selling all over the country and employ about 10,000 youths?
“What happened to our yams, that we cannot employ 20,000 youths, and begin to refine that yam to yam flour.
“So let’s stop deceiving Nigerians, we hear during the campaign of APC that they have created over 250,000 jobs, where are the 250,000 jobs? Where is it?
“Even the Federal Government, has it created such jobs, even in Lagos? No. Capital no.
“What happened to Ondo State, the palm oil we have in Ondo State? The Governor, did he employ youths? He did not.
“They say they are doing Argungu Festival where they kill fish, they are using it for only festival. Can’t they do something around it? And package the fish
“We are talking about herdsmen, who is encouraging herdsmen? Why can’t the government build a ranch where they rear these cow, goats and so on and so forth? About 10,000 youths can do that. If you do all these, about two million to three million Nigerian youths will gain employment since the beginning of this government.
“If government built factories where they employ youths, artisans, they will gain employment and everywhere will be settled and there will be no crisis. It is because there is no employment that is why there is criminality everywhere.
“In Delta State they say they are doing rape day, any girl that goes out on that day, they will make use of her. Why because there is no job.
“Early in the morning you see youths outside smoking, drinking, why are they doing all of these? Why are all these being encouraged? Because the sellers know that the youths don’t go anywhere, they help themselves with drink.
“We hear they want to eradicate Keke Marwa, mini buses, you will kill yourself, Nigeria will be destroyed. These are the jobs citizens are doing to succeed, by the time you say NO again, who will now do it? Who will feed them and their families? Common sense.”
