Primate Ayodele Sees 2027 Election Ending In Interim Govt
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has stated that the election of 2027 in Nigeria would be deadlocked and this would call for an interim government.
He said a situation like that was what the international community was looking for as they did not pray for peaceful elections in Nigeria.
Primate Ayodele who bared his mind on national issues while speaking to journalists on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, said the herdsmen would spread to new areas as the government gave them a chase; and as they spread, they would cause problems making it difficult for people to vote in the coming elections.
Primate Ayodele said, “These herdsmen, when the government starts pursuing them, they will start going to other places. That will be the beginning of another wahala.
“Yes, there is heavy possibility that this election, if it holds, it will not be conclusive, and this will lead to interim government. Interim government is loading.
“There will be several crises, and that is what the international community wants. They don’t want us to have a peaceful election. But they have not asked for a way forward, you are still doing calculation, that calculation can calculate something.”
