JAMB Unveils Ekiti Girl As Overall Best For 2026 UTME With 372 Marks
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the statistics and performance breakdown for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Of the 2,243,816 candidates who registered and sat for the exam across 966 CBT centres nationwide, JAMB announced Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin as the overall highest scorer in Nigeria for 2026 with 372 of the maximum 400 marks.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, unveiled the top performers during the annual policy meeting.
Daniella, who hails from Ekiti State but sat her exam at a CBT centre in Ogun State.
According to official updates, she has selected the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as her first choice to study Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).

- Osagiobare Daniel Osahenrumwen (Edo) – 368 | UNIBEN (Mechanical Engineering)
- Ademiluyi Adebowale Anthony (Osun) – 368 | OAU (Computer Engineering)

JAMB also finalised the baseline cut-off marks for this year’s admission cycle.
Pan-Atlantic University with 220 has the highest baseline.
Top Federal Varsities, UNILAG, UI, OAU, UNIBEN, UNN, were allotted 200 as their highest baseline
LASU has 195.
General Federal Baseline for schools like ABU, UNILORIN, etc was fixed at 180.
JAMB placed the statutory national minimum at 150 marks.
