My Mother Helped Me Kill My Brother And I Cut His Body Parts For Money Ritual To Prosper My Yahoo Business -Suspect Confesses
A 32-year-old man, Afeez Olalere, arrested by the Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, has confessed that he slaughtered his brother for money rituals upon the prompting of their mother.
Olalere made his confession after police arrested him in a stop-and-search operation in the Itamaga area at Ikorodu, Lagos State.
After the brother was poisoned and died, they mutilated his body, severing his thumb and fingers and cutting his hair.
They also took the passport photo of the deceased for the ritual.
Wrapping the body in a shroud, they attempted to transport the remains to a mortuary.
But they met their Waterloo when they ran into police doing a routine check in Itamaga, Ikorodu, where officers arrested Afeez and uncovered the gruesome details of their crime.
His mother, too, has been arrested.
He reportedly narrated: “My mother took me to a herbalist who told me if I wanted to be successful in the Yahoo (Internet fraud) business, I will have to sacrifice a life and that person must be a sibling to me.
“The things he would need to prepare a concoction with are his thumbs, his hair, fingers and a passport photograph.
“So we went back home and thought about it.
“Then my mother suggested we use my younger brother since he was just 21-year-old.
“She also brought the poison which we gave him to eat. He died within 20 minutes after consuming the food.
“I was the one who cut out the body parts needed.”
