Onitsha Businessman Gives Apprentice 2-Story House, ₦30m Cash

An Onitsha, Anambra State businessman, Omoletex Na Umuchu, has gifted his faithful apprentice a surprise 12-flat, two-story apartment and ₦30 million in cash.

The apprentice, who had served for three years, was completely unaware of the asset as he was away overseas on a business trip.

The Igbo apprenticeship (Igba Boi) system is renowned for empowering young people with cash and shop setups, though this monumental gift represents a massive scale of settlement for loyalty, honesty, and hard work.

According to the businessman, when the young man joined him as an apprentice, he owned only one house.

Over the years, through hard work, dedication, and God’s blessings, his business flourished, and he successfully built over 12 houses.

To appreciate his apprentice’s loyalty and years of commitment, he settled him with ₦30 million in cash and a two-storey building, giving him a strong foundation to start his own business and future.

The apprentice is reportedly currently abroad for a business trip all sponsored by his boss.

The boss opened a bank account on the boy’s name where the rent paid by tenants would be collected until the boy finishes serving him.

The Igbo apprenticeship (Ịgba Boy) system is a sustainable business model that has raised tens of thousands of millionaires across Nigeria and beyond.
