LASU Male Profs Lose Out Again As Gov Sanwo-Olu Gives Varsity Another Female VC
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of Professor Badejo Ayodeji Olawumi (Nee Faji) as Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University, LASU.
Female Professor Badejo Ayodeji Olawunmi succeeds female Professor Ibijoke Olatunji-Bello, who leaves the post after the expiration of her five-year tenure.
The new appointment announced in a press statement on Wednesday by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso.
Olawunmi, a Professor of Guidance and Counselling, was born on August 4, 1962.
She obtained a Ph. D in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Lagos, UNILAG, after an M. Ed. (Guidance and Counseling) from the same school.
