Two days ago, as officials representing Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT) were co-signing a mining MOU in New York, the @FBI filed new sworn declarations concerning President Tinubu in federal court.
The FBI again confirms that its search was specifically for records concerning Bola Ahmed #Tinubu and reiterates that the records retrieved involve a drug-trafficking investigation, controlled drug purchases by a cooperating witness, federal grand-jury proceedings, and electronic surveillance.
The Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys goes further, confirming that records concerning an Assistant U.S. Attorney’s prosecution plan and grand-jury targets exist. A prosecution plan is a prosecutor’s strategy for pursuing potential criminal cases, including assessments of “possible charges.” This document, if released, could confirm allegations that President #Tinubu ratted out his co-heroin traffickers and became a government witness.
