If Nigeria falls, titles will mean nothing.
There will be no President, no Governor, no Senator.
No ruling party, no opposition.
No Muslim, no Christian.
No North, no South, no East, no West.
No Yoruba to defend, no Igbo to protect, no Hausa-Fulani to shield.

Only ashes, tears, and the bitter echo of a nation that once was. That is why some words must rise above politics, above tribe, above religion. They must pierce the soul and remind us of a simple, stubborn truth:
Before we are anything else, we are Nigerians.

Yes, we will disagree. Fiercely.
Yes, we will be angry. Rightfully.
Yes, we must demand justice, accountability, and visionary leadership because that is our birthright as citizens. But even as we fight for a better Nigeria, let us never set fire to the only home we have.

Because when the house collapses, no one walks away as victor. We all become refugees in the ruins of our own making.
We can correct our leaders from within.
We can reform our institutions from within.
We can heal our wounds, rebuild trust, and restore hope from within.
But the moment we invite outsiders to break us, to dictate our fate, to turn brother against brother until the center cannot hold we lose more than power.
We lose the very idea of Nigeria.
This is not about blind loyalty to any government.

This is about fierce love for our nation.
A nation must survive so that tomorrow, we can still argue, still protest, still dream, still rebuild.
A broken Nigeria serves no one not the rich, not the poor, not the politician, not the activist.
So let us criticize with courage and truth.
Let us protest with wisdom and restraint.
Let us demand excellence without destroying the stage on which we all stand. In unity, in resilience, in shared destiny lies our salvation.
Nigeria must not fall. Not on our watch.

For in unity, resilience, and wisdom lies our survival.
