In a significant and well-attended political ceremony, Hon. (Alhaji) Rahman Owokoniran was today formally inducted as the South-West Zonal Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The historic occasion was graced by the Deputy National Chairman of ADC, Dr. Bamidele Ajadi, alongside other national officers of the party from the South West, distinguished party leaders, and critical stakeholders drawn from across the six South West states.
The inauguration reflects the confidence of the party’s national leadership in Hon. Owokoniran’s experience, strategic capacity, and commitment to building a strong, united, and people-focused political structure in the South West. It also signals ADC’s renewed resolve to provide credible opposition, deepen internal democracy, and position the party as a formidable force ahead of upcoming political contests.
The ceremony reaffirmed ADC’s collective determination to advance progressive politics, grassroots mobilisation, and inclusive governance across the South West and Nigeria at large, according to a statement issued By ADC Media Network 2.0, headed by Owokoniran.
