The Aare Atunluse of Awori Kingdom and the Chairman, Mapcotec Nigeria Limited, Aare (Surveyor) Dr. Segun Osifeso, has said that the late Akran of Badagry, De Wheno Aholu Menu Toyi 1, will be remembered for his indelible marks and services as a foremost custodian of people’s cultural heritage and traditions
Aare Osifeso, who made these remarks on the demise of the Paramount Ruler of Badagry Kingdom, expressed deep sorrow for the loss.
He noted that the late Akran’s wisdom and dedication to his people will be greatly missed, adding that he was a beacon of hope and true father to his people, leaving a legacy of unity and progress.
The renowned Surveyor noted that the late Akran’s reign marked an era of peace and development, stressing that his passing leaves a void that will be difficult to fill as his life exemplified courage and services.
Aare Osifeso added that Nigeria has, no doubt, lost a precious gem, urging that people should draw strength from the late monarch’s example and celebrate a life of profound impact.
He described the late Akran as not only a man of wisdom who had served his people well, but also as an inspiring and emulative leader per excellence
“The late Akran’s wealth of experience, his immense wisdom and commitment to seeing a greater Badagry and a better Lagos State are unrivaled. Badagry, Lagos State, Nigeria and humanity at large will miss the foremost monarch who was ever ready to give his all to see a better society.
” I commiserate with his immediate family, the Akran – in – Council, all Badagry indigenes, home and abroad, and the Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs on this painful loss and pray that may God grant him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss”, said Aare Osifeso
