English Premier League leaders Arsenal beat German champions and table toppers Bayern Munich 3-1 in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
The match was played at Emirates Stadium in London, where the Gunners took the lead through a Jurrien Timber header in the first half.
Lennart Karl levelled for the Germans just before the break, and Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli settled the game in the second period.
Arsenal reached the semifinals of last season’s Champions League, where they were eliminated by eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayern reached the quarterfinals, where they were beaten by defeated finalists Inter Milan.
Chelsea shocked Barcelona on Tuesday with a 3-0 win in their UCL match in London.
The Gunners have continued their fine start to the season and look like they will take some stopping this year.
Until next time, from me Adam Hancock and my colleague Kevin Hand, goodbye!
