A masquerade met his sudden demise after being crushed by a commercial tricycle (keke NAPEP) in Imo Awka, Awka, Anambra State.
The sad incident occurred on Sunday, May 11, during the Imo Awka festival.
The streets were filled with masquerades and spectators who came to watch the festival when a young masquerade was hit by a keke and his skull was crushed.
Eyewitnesses claim the victim was just a boy in a masquerade costume.
