Muhammed, the son of Nigerian Military Dictator, General Ibrahim Babangida, has written to reject his appointment as Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In his letter dated July 21, 2025, the younger Babangida said he would be unable to take up the offer because he could not dedicate to the job the level of focus it deserved.
The letter was personally addressed to the Nigerian President.
However, in the correspondence, Babangida expressed gratitude for the honour of being considered worthy of the offer to play a strategic role in the country’s economic and agricultural advancement.
Tinubu had last Friday announced the appointment of Muhammad Babangida as Chairman of the revamped Bank of Agriculture.
