Primate Elijah Ayodele, Founder and Leader of INRI Spiritual Evangelical Church based in Lagos State, Nigeria has stated that the current electoral malpractices in Nigeria can be attributed to the use of BVAS and IREV.
Primate Ayodele who made the revelation during his Tuesday service at the international headquarters of his church at Ejigbo on September 24, 2024, added that Nigeria is not yet mature for electronic voting. He stated that BVAS and IREV are killing Nigerian democracy.
The oracle of God maintained that there is no more opposition party in Nigeria, saying that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as an opposition party is already dead.
Speaking further he revealed that there would be protests against the electoral system in Nigeria and the removal of the INEC chairman, Mamoud Yakub.
Ayodele said that he sees reforms coming into INEC
“I am seeing that people will protest against the electoral system of Nigeria, and that one can bring our democracy down.
‘If things still continue this way, BVAS is not the way to our democracy, BVAS kills our democracy.
IREV is killing our democracy, we are not yet mature for electronic voting and Mamoud Yakub, people will protest for his removal, and a lot of people will call for reform in INEC.
“Meanwhile there is no opposition. PDP as opposition party is death, I said it last year. I said that two PDP states would be gone, one has gone, Rivers is going too.
“So PDP as an opposition party, it will become a dead party because there is no person like Wike in PDP again, no one like Saraki in PDP again, there is no one like Fayose in PDP again.
“There is going to be a protest to reform the electoral system,” Ayodele disclosed.
