Four popular Gospel singers have been killed in a fatal car accident that happened along the Ikorodu/Sagamu road in Ogun State.
Killed in the crash of Sunday were: Evangelist Ayodeji Kekerejesu, Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin and Opeyemi Adesina.
Breaking the news to journalists, Florence Okupe, the Ogun State Commander and Public Information Officer for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), said in a statement on Sunday, April 5 that the accident occurred after their vehicle crashed into another one.
According to the Road Safety spokesperson, all the Gospel singers died instantly on the spot.
All of them reportedly came from the same family.
Offering her condolences to the families of the bereaved, Okupe urged drivers to avoid overspeeding.
