EID-EL-KABIR: APC FELICITATES WITH NIGERIANS
The All Progressives Congress (APC) rejoices with Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
Also known as Eid al-Adha, Eid el-Kabir commemorates the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son, Ismail (Ishmael), as an act of utmost obedience to Almighty Allah.
It symbolizes faith, obedience, sacrifice and devotion to God, priceless virtues that are central to our wholesome spiritual growth and development.
We urge all Muslim faithful to leverage the occasion of this year’s celebration to rekindle their faith in Almighty Allah, and pray for the continued peace, unity, progress and prosperity of our dear nation.
In the spirit of the season, it behoves us to extend hands of fellowship and kindness to the poor and needy around us.
