Former Ekiti State’s Governor Ayodele Fayose, on Monday endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, Daily Watch Nigeria reports.
Fayose also endorsed Governor Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State for a second term.
He spoke in Ado Ekiti, at Oyebanji’s campaign rally for a second term.
Fayose said this is the first time that all former Governors would endorse a sitting Governor in the state.
He said: “I hereby endorse publicly without reservation, President Bola Tinubu for a second term.
“I also endorse our Governor, Abayomi Oyebanji, and his deputy for a second term. Your Excellency, congratulations.
“Let me say that this gathering is unique because this is the first time that all former Governors of this state, former leaders, National Assembly members, and myself unanimously endorsed a Governor. ”
