Rivers State’s Governor Siminalayi Fubara says he acts “weak” to preserve peace and stability under his government, while dedicating an award given to him to Nyesom Wike, his predecessor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Fubara and Wike are at loggerheads over Rivers State politics.
Fubara spoke on Friday while receiving the 2025 man of the year award presented to him by New Telegraph in Lagos.
