Eighty years old Pastor Walter Akachukwu on Sunday, September 28, 2025, declared that he had not seen N1 million before in his earthly existence.
Walter Akachukwu who hails from Nnokwa in Anambra State was gifted a whopping sum of N1 million by the Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, during service on Sunday.
The man who said he joined INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church 10 years ago as someone who was frustrated, in his speechlessness and being flabbergasted, declared that of truth he has not seen or touched N1million before in his life.
Akachukwu who said he came to the church with only N1000 which was his home and abroad described Primate Ayodele as amazing, wonderful, philanthropic, godly and a man of integrity and honour.
“I joined this church INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church about 9, 10 years ago, but let me cut the testimony short, all my life time, I will be 80 years in November, but all my life time, I have never before seen N1 million with my eyes, even in an envelope, I have not seen it, but this day, I woke up this morning because I have been down for one week, then I asked myself the question, if I am the owner of this church, won’t I go to church?
“I said let me just go, my wife pleaded with me not to go, but I decided to go, then I have to trek some part to get here, then I have only this N1000 in my pocket and surprisingly today I was given N1 million cash by the Primate, Elijah Ayodele. So this is my first time in my life I have seen one million naira, not just seen it but holding it” he said.
His message for the church, “The message I have for the church, don’t mind what people are saying, don’t mind what you hear, don’t allow people to entice you, believe in God and believe in this church.
“INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church is going places, I said it, when I preached last time, I said warning to the nation, let me tell you the message I have now, INRI will be antagonized, INRI will be ridiculed, INRI will be toiled with, but at the end of the day INRI will triumph.
“In the next ten years, INRI will become a Universal church, a household name, I believe my God who has told me this and it will surely come to pass,” he stressed.
