Nigerian celebrity cook Hilda Baci undertook the ambitious attempt to set a new Guinness World Record by cooking the world’s largest pot of jollof rice.
The chef prepared the massive dish using 250 bags of rice.
Hilda, who shot to international fame in 2023 after breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon, unveiled this new challenge at Eko Hotel, Lagos, where a lively crowd of fans and supporters gathered to witness history in the making.
She achieved the new record by cooking in a Gino seasoning branded pot at the Eko Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, on Saturday.
Her Largest serving of Nigerian style jollof rice weighed in at 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz).
It will be the second Guinness World Record she will be making.
