Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, aka Tuface, has put an engagement ring on the finger of his new lover and Edo Lawmaker, Natasha Osawuru, the daughter of Billionaire Businessman Chief Igbinedion.
The singer is getting engaged to Natasha, a Member of the Edo State House of Assembly, a couple of weeks after announcing his divorce from his wife Annie Macaulay.
In a video shared online on Wednesday, Tuface was seen popping the question to Natasha Osawaru amid exciting reactions from close associates present.
Natasha looked shy in the video as she gave 2faba a tender hug while he put an engagement ring on her finger to the applause and joy of her close friends and family.
The multiple award-winning musician, in a video post shared on his official Instagram page on Wednesday morning, confirmed his romance with the Edo lawmaker amid ongoing divorce proceedings with estranged wife Annie.
His visit to the Edo State House of Assembly on Monday had drawn a huge crowd.
“Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool. I want to marry her. That is on one side. On the other side, Annie and I are not fighting, we are not quarreling, we have a good understanding of ourselves and what’s going on,” 2face said in the video.
Speculation about their relationship had been growing after 2Baba was seen at the Edo State Assembly and a video surfaced showing the two together at a Lagos club.
Addressing the rumours, 2Baba took to Instagram on Tuesday to set the record straight.
In the video, he said in part, “Allegedly, I have been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted. Yes, I posted what I posted.
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker.
“She is a young brilliant amazing woman and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage.
“Yes I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”
