Architect Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and a leading aspirant for the 2027 Lagos State Governorship election, paid a courtesy visit to former President and respected elder statesman, Olusegun Obasanjo.
The meeting primarily focused on critical discussions about the future of Lagos State, the empowerment of Nigerian youth, and the direction of the nation as Nigeria approaches the 2027 elections.
Rhodes-Vivour was accompanied by Hon. Ayodele Adio and Hon. Abdul-Azeez Akinsanya; the ADC Lagos State Chairman of the Membership Mobilization, Revalidation and Registration (MMRR) Committee who also lent their voices to the strategic conversation on governance, leadership renewal, and the role of young Nigerians in shaping a prosperous and inclusive future.
The engagement reflects a growing commitment among emerging leaders to seek the wisdom and guidance of elder statesmen as Nigeria navigates the tough path towards good governance, youth inclusion, and sustainable development.
As the 2027 political season gradually approaches, dialogues such as this signal an increasing focus on building a Lagos and Nigeria that works for all citizens, particularly the younger generation who represent the nation’s greatest asset.
