Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has urged the one time world footballer of the year and former president of Liberia, George Weah, to get set to take power from the current president.
Primate Ayodele made the disclosure on Friday, October 24, 2025, while addressing journalists in Lagos.
He said the president of Liberia would be misled by his political Advisers, adding that the president is ready to deal with the opposition groups even to send them out of existence.
Primate Ayodele urged the former president of the country, Liberia,to prepare to take power from the country’s president.
He said, “The president of Liberia will be misled by his political Advisers.
“The president of the country is ready to destroy the opposition party, he is ready to do everything possible to fight the opposition and send them out of existence.
“The opposition would come up stronger, the more they fight the opposition, the more they would be stronger.
“So I am warning the president not to fight the opposition, let the will of God be done.
“However, George Weah should get prepared to sent the president out of power,” he stated.
