The W@iling of the Betrãyers: A Tale of Bite and Unthankfulness

“For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” – 2 Peter 2:21

The Ashekuns’ story is not one of hardship, but of high-level ingratitude. It is a modern-day parable of dogs returning to their vomit and sows that were washed returning to the mire. Everything the AShekun family calls their own today, Dr. Olukoya, a true man of God, laid the foundation for with his own resources and sweat. He didn’t just prophesy from a distance; he physically stretched his hand to lift a family from nothing.

The Foundation of Goodness
Dr. Olukoya sponsored their wedding and pastor Kehinde officiated . He didn’t just pray for their accommodation; he gave them a place to stay, rent-free.

When children came, he didn’t just bless them; he put them on scholarships. When they needed mobility, he gave them cars. He saw their struggles and went a step further to rent an apartment for them, and eventually provided them with a more permanent place to call home.

He opened international doors, sending them abroad on several occasions. When the husband needed dignity through employment, Dr. Olukoya used his influence to secure a job for him, even releasing funds to retain the position when it was threatened.

The Heart of Darkness
But the human heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wiicked (Jeremiah 17:9).

When money was given for the husband to retain his job and it was “lost,” Dr. Olukoya still showed compassion. They borrowed money, but then came the ultimate spiritual treachery: “The Holy Spirit asked us not to pay.” They used the name of the Lord to cover their theeft and justify their debts.

Proverbs 17:13 warns: “Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.” The Ashekuns personify this verse.

They repaid his goodness by selling everything in the house he gave them, packing up, and fleeing abroad to seek asylum. Their asylum claim is built on the lies they now spread—painting Nigeria as d@ngerous for them that Olukoya is thre@tening to klll them because they have chosen to bite the hand that fed them for decades.

The Gallery of the Wiicked
They did not work alone. They recruited a coven of fellow travelers to amplify their blackmail:

· Maureen Badejo: The most foooolish serial bl@ckmailer. She attached herself to a narrative built on sand, thinking she could blackmail a man of integrity. Her folly is her confidence, but the Bible says, “The foolishness of fools is folly” (Proverbs 14:24).

· Richard: A man bought for a mess of pottage, like Esau who sold his birthright (Hebrews 12:16). He sold his loyalty for money, proving himself an ungrateful idiot who values silver over his own soul.

· Yetunde: The ungrateful who followed the crowd because her heart was biitter. Dr. Olukoya didn’t send her abroad, and rather than accept God’s timing, she allowed envy to turn her into a tool of malice.

· Igene: The epitome of hypocrisy. She was sending messages to the man of God begging for financial help, yet when her begging didn’t yield the desired results, she turned into an accuser.

When I offered a million naira to be given to her if she proved her lies through forensic analysis, she fled. Now, she surfaces to blackmail Emmanuel Aro, a man she hasn’t spoken to in 14 years. Little did she know the truth was archived.

The Exposure is Here
They thought the case was over. They thought they could hide abroad and use the internet as a shield for their wickedness. But God has given us the evidence. The hard drives, the bank statements, the history.

To the Ashekuns and their cohorts: You have wailed falsely to gain sympathy, but the Bible says in Proverbs 11:21, “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished.” You sold your benefactor for a quick asylum visa, but you have sold your destiny into the hands of the wasters.

Dr. Olukoya laid the foundation of your life, and now you will watch that foundation crumble because you raised hands againstyour Moses. You are all exposed.
