Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, shared a terrifying experience he had with some Muslim individuals he had offered shelter and food to.
In a video posted by Equipping the Persecuted on X (formerly Twitter), Rev. Dachomo recounted how he showed compassion to a group of stranded Muslims by providing them with accommodation and meals, only for them to repay his kindness with horrific actions, including the murder of his grandmother and the removal of her heart.
He claimed that despite his generosity, the family committed various heinous acts. “I purchased food with my own money to feed them in my home, and they used the church to pray to Allah. Is that not hypocrisy?” he stated.
“These same individuals killed my grandmother and took her heart. They also murdered my uncle and cut out his tongue. They burned my best friend, his wife, and their five children.
Why is it that one side offers peace while the other, particularly from the Islamic perspective, does not? They refuse to provide us with peace.
They have come to live in our village, yet they have attacked us brutally, resulting in my grandmother’s death.
They have repeatedly assaulted our village, but we have never retaliated against their Ruga area. The same Almajirai who depend on the kindness of Christian communities are often the ones used to attack those very communities when violence breaks out.
Regardless of how kind you are, they are conditioned to view you as less than human. My question is: why are Christians always willing to promote peace while Muslims are not?
They have even taken our land, and reclaiming it will be a challenge. I urge the Senate Committee to take action; they know what needs to be done but often do not act.
I pray that God guides the Committee to address this security issue so we can return to our lands that have been seized by terrorists.
We have remained silent for too long, and we will not remain silent any longer. As for those who have gone to America claiming there is no genocide in Plateau State, let us see how God will deal with them.
Their lives are in the hands of Almighty God, who knows how to address their lies.
