The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has described all women as witches, while hosting the cast of a popular reality show, “Real Housewives of Lagos.”
Speaking during the cast’s visit to his palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State on Thursday, the monarch delved into the subject of witchcraft and said that women were “good witches.”
Present at the visit were Nollywood female stars, Iyabo Ojo, Chioma Ikokwu and Tania Omotayo, who were among those seen in a video capturing their visit to the king’s palace.
Others in attendance were: Faith Morey, Mariam Timmer and Toyin Lawani.
On hand to receive the visitors was the Ooni’s Queen Aderonke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi.
Ooni said, “Every woman has that witchcraft spirit in them but you know people just probably think it is a negative thing, but witchcraft is all about manipulation.
“If you know how to manipulate very well. And that’s the power of a woman. You have natural manipulative spirit and you should manipulate in a very positive way.”
