In a gesture of respect and admiration, His Imperial Majesty, Ọba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ọọni of Ifẹ, paid a courtesy visit to former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Accompanied by his wife, Olori Ẹbunọla, the royal father was warmly received by Dr. Jonathan.
During the visit, the Ọọni praised Dr. Jonathan as “a divine gift to humanity” and presented him with sacred Ifẹ bronze artifacts, symbolizing their esteem for the former President.
Olori Ẹbunọla also commended the legacy of compassion embodied by Dame Patience Jonathan.
The royal couple’s visit extended to Mama Eunice Jonathan’s residence in Otuoke, where they offered symbolic gifts, honoring Dr. Jonathan’s humble beginnings.
