Galatasaray are said to be ready to float a record-breaking offer to keep Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, in a permanent deal.
Revealing the plan, Spanish outlet AS as per Cumhuriyet, said the Istanbul giants were ready to offer Napoli a staggering €70 million ($77.4 million) transfer fee and hand Osimhen a three-year contract worth €15 million ($16.5 million) net per season, plus performance-related bonuses.
Osimhen joined the Turkish giants on loan from Napoli following the collapse of a proposed move to Chelsea.
Since arriving at the club, the Super Eagles striker has scored 28 times in 32 appearances across all competitions.
Osimhen has also quickly become a huge fan favourite, as he leads Galatasaray’s bid to retain the Turkish Super Lig title and win the domestic cup.
Now, the club’s top brass are determined to keep him in Istanbul beyond the summer window.
However, Galatasaray will have to fight off interest from top European sides like Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and even Saudi Arabia.
