The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed November 15 and 16 for the party’s elective National Convention.
This was among the key resolutions in a communiqué issued at the end of the party’s 101st National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, Thursday, at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, is expected to elect new National Working Committee (NWC) officers to run the party for the next four years.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the NEC meeting held at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Ologunagba announced too that the NEC approved the membership of the national convention committee and the zoning committee, saddled with the responsibility of ensuring a transparent process.
