The mother of Nigeria’s Late President Umar Yar’Adua, Madam Dada Yar’Adua, has passed away.
She died on Monday evening at the Katsina Teaching Hospital.
She was aged 102.
Dada was also the mother of late Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, the current Chairman, Senate Committee on Army.
Umar Yar’Adua was elected Nigerian President in 2007 until he died in office in May 2010.
The former lecturer had served as the Governor of Katsina State from 1999 to 2007.
His elder brother, General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, as Chief of Staff Supreme Headquarters, had been Nigeria’s Number Two to the Head of State General Olusegun Obasanjo.
