Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that some House of Representatives members would not support his second term bid.
He also maintained that some of the governors who are decamping from other political parties do not love Tinubu.
Primate Ayodele was speaking on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos. He said many of the Governors just decamped to mock Tinubu or to satisfy him, but not to support him to win election.
He said five governors would negotiate Tinubu. He called on the president to change his cabinet and in their place appoint very resourceful people.
Primate Ayodele said among other governors who would still decamp is the Zamfara State Governor.
He stated, “Most of these House of Assembly members, they will not support you Tinubu, they will disappoint you.
“You see, most of them are just decamping to mock you, they are just there to satisfy you, not to support you.
“Watch this, most of these governors, that decamped, Zamfara will still decamp and others, don’t believe that they are in that party because of you, they are there because of the IGR that is why they are joining you, some of them will negotiate you.
“Five governors will negotiate you, five, and they are all in APC.
“Change your cabinet now, put resource people there,”
