Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of the Most High God, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church based in Lagos, has warned the Director General of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, to be careful that forces against him want to ruin him politically.
Primate Ayodele made the revelation while speaking to his members at the international headquarters of his church at Ejigbo on Friday, February 28, 2025.
He added that the NDDC boss must make haste to take the necessary to avoid being ruined politically.
He said failure to take necessary steps, apart from being ruined politically, the Commission would be bedeviled with scandals that would draw the attention of the anti-corruption agency, the Economic and Finance Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He said the NDDC boss has the Aura of a governor but these forces that are against him would not allow him to realize his ambition, adding that even though he gets it, his case would be like that of David Lyon whose ticket was quashed on the eve of his inauguration as governor by the court.
Primate Ayodele stressed that Ogbuku must seek the face of God as the forces against him are not just ready technically, spiritually and financially, they are far far stronger than he is.
Primate Ayodele said “The NDDC boss, he will not be governor of the state if he doesn’t take the step he supposed to take, he will fail politically. The NDDC will be rocked with several scandals of billions that will affect him, whereby they will even invite the EFCC.
“His political ambition is on the verge of collapsing and the people behind him are the people with forces more than him.
“Let him humble himself and seek the face of God or he loses his political prowess.
“Those forces want to wreck him, they want to pull him down, the forces want to jeopardize his political ambition, that he must be readily prepared to ensure their desperation does not fly to anywhere.
“And for you to fight assiduously, because the forces that are fighting you are ready financially, they are ready spiritually, they are ready technically, they are ready to ruin your political ambition for you to perish.
“The forces that are fighting you want to finish you politically, and you have this governor aura, but God has not said yes.
“People have seen that you can be the next governor of Bayelsa State but the powerful forces will fight you just as they fought David Lyon.
“If you don’t take time your case will be like that of Lyon who won the election but on the eve of his swearing in, he was disqualified.
“Ogbuku’s case would be like, his eyes will just be looking at the seat but you will not get there,” Ayodele stated.
